Ashar is a platform designed to connect those who want to help with those in need, making giving intentional and impactful.
Have you ever wanted to help someone experiencing homelessness but hesitated?
Maybe you weren’t sure what they really needed, or were concerned your money wouldn’t be used the way you hoped.
You’re not alone. Many people want to give but also want to give in a way that feels right, safe, meaningful, and respectful.
Ashar was created to make that possible, all from the comfort of your home using your phone or computer.
The founder saw a growing crisis, with shelters closing, resources vanishing, and more people left without support.
But the need didn’t go away. Ashar was built as a new way to give with intention.
You can provide help directly to the individuals that resonate with your heart, like veterans, homeless teens, senior citizens, or people recovering from interpersonal violence, and provide them with the items that they have specifically requested, such as clothing, hygiene products, diapers, job training, temporary housing vouchers, etc. You also have the flexibility to give other items that you feel would be helpful.
It also gives you a way to help without crossing personal boundaries that may feel uncomfortable, especially when health or behavioral concerns make close interaction difficult or uncomfortable.
Ashar gives you a safe, secure way to provide direct care to homeless individuals without hesitation, because giving should feel as good as it is.
